Under the supervision of WWF Dzanga-Sangha Protected Area Director and in strong collaboration with all heads of department, the Technical Advisor is the technical and administrative monitoring officer for all ongoing projects in the DSPA. The incumbent does so by supporting the respective project managers/heads of departments in effective coordination, planning, management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of projects and activities. COMIFAC Call for contributions - Transformational Change: Best Practices for Gender-responsive Biodiversity Policy and Action

Submissions can be in the form of a short summary (one to five pages) and can include previously prepared or published case studies. Information on initiatives operating at international, regional, national, sub-national or local level are all welcome. Photos of projects, as well as links to websites and videos can also be submitted. Please send your submission by e-mail to comifac@comifac.org by 20 december 2021.

The successful candidate will manage and lead the Cameroon-based implementation of a 2-year project in coordination with the global project team. The Project Manager’s role is to ensure that the lines of effort across the entire project are cohesive. He/she will also lead in producing project outputs, including comprehensive reports of research findings and ensuring its appropriate dissemination. The Project Manager is also responsible for compiling donor reports, monitoring project budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with donor guidelines. Closing date: 13 December 2021

TRAFFIC - Data Support Officer- OES

The successful candidate will assist in the management and implementation of a 2-year project. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Cameroon Seeks a Junior Conservation Biologist (JCB)-Lobeke

The JCB is responsible for overall day-to-day implementation of agreed ecological monitoring activities in Lobeke National Park. In this regard, he works under the direct technical supervision of the Jengi-TNS Technical Advisor and to some extent, the Program Manager for related activities. He is also expected to be responsible for all project equipment at his disposal for execution of field activities. He generally assists the Technical Advisor in the implementation of conservation activities in Lobeke National Park and overall management of the site. Deadline for applications: 23rd November 2021.
