Under the supervision of the Congo basin impact monitoring coordinator, and in close collaboration with the regional coordination team members and national teams, the socioeconomic monitoring intern will focus on protocol development for data collection, the monitoring of data collection processes, the compilation and structuration of existing and new data, and the analyses and production of technical reports.

The Project Manager’s role is to ensure that the lines of effort across the entire project are cohesive. The JCB is responsible for overall day-to-day implementation of agreed ecological monitoring activities in Lobeke National Park. He is also expected to be responsible for all project equipment at his disposal for execution of field activities.
