Employees in this job correct, process and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, programme billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal vouchers; review and code financial information; prepare and process documents to disburse funds, make deposits and prepare reports; prepare bank signatory updates, prepares consultant contracts and grants, compile and review information for accuracy; and maintain records. Work is performed by applying knowledge of accounting terminology and using spreadsheets and the Oracle accounting system.

Working Relationships

Internal: CCPO Finance Team, the Regional Finance Team, WWF Cameroon staff

External: Donors, partners and other stakeholders, if appropriate

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (Programme Roles)

Work effectively with the FCDO programme team in the UK and the regional, external contractors and regional colleagues to drive implementation of CBFA. Support co-design activities delivered by component 1 consortium, alongside working with the component 2 fund manager to appraise and oversee proposals. Monitor and assess risks and opportunities associated with the programme, reporting clearly to the programme team. Identify errors or problems, take action as necessary to resolve and/or notify others in the team. Write clear reports and briefings as required.
