The Communications and Knowledge Exchange Officer will contribute to the strategy and production of internal and external communications for the project, and ensure the effective implementation of research in action with project researchers and key stakeholders. You will be an experienced and motivated communications/knowledge exchange specialist who will work closely with all members of the consortium to communicate the project's research findings and effect change in policy and practice. Given the linguistic diversity of the PALM-TREEs implementation regions, dissemination and communication materials will need to be produced in both French and English.
The post holder will also contribute to the organisation of a series of events (the content of the materials) including workshops and annual conferences. You will combine experience and ability to deliver innovative communications or knowledge exchange work with ideally knowledge of climate change adaptation and gender programming.
The Communications and Knowledge Exchange Officer will work closely with the Consortium Manager based at the University of Cape Town.
