Webinar Series: Strengthening Protected Area Management Effectiveness,

IUCN and WCPA are organizing a four-part webinar series aims to strengthen and continue connections amongst protected area practitioners and those involved in the evaluation of management effectiveness for protected areas. This series is part of the IUCN WCPA’s "Vital Sites: The Journey to Marseille", a 6-month series of online events and multimedia content to run between June 2020 and the rescheduled World Conservation Congress in January 2021.

The target audiences for this session include protected area managers, conservation agencies, indigenous and local communities, national and regional level data providers, academics, donors and investment agencies, focal points for Management Effectiveness Assessments (such as National Focal Points to the Convention on Biological Diversity) and anyone with an interest in learning how and why we measure the effectiveness and performance of protected and conserved areas.
