WWF: Congo Basin Forests Program Officer

WWF is looking for a Congo Basin Forests Program Officer to support WWF Cameroon, Congo and Gabon teams in the valuation of payments for ecosystem services and contribute to the development of community forests. The position will be based in one of WWF's offices in the Congo Basin, with frequent travel to other countries in the ecoregion, and is funded by WWF-France. The program manager will work in close collaboration with the various offices and the Forest Hub Coordinator. Closing date: 27 June 2023.

TRAFFIC: Senior Programme Officer – Forest Governance and Trade

The Senior Programme Officer – Forest Governance and Trade will lead the Forestry Programme of TRAFFIC in Central Africa and support all related forestry projects’ implementation work in the region under the Supervision of the TRAFFIC Programme Office Director , focusing on the agreed annual Workplan activities and deliverables. He will also, if required, take on the role of acting Programme Office Director in the absence of the Programme Office Director and take responsibility for the Central African Office until such time as the Programme Office Director has returned.
